Located south of town on the bay, Dun Reach is a spacious and airy house that was recently renovated and the results are terrific. Its contemporary design lends itself perfectly to the new décor which is a wonderful mix of “island chic” and “Nantucket charm”. And from almost every room are expansive water views. Comprising a main house and a cottage, Dun Reach has 4 bedrooms with bathrooms en suite.
This is very much of an island house offering several dining and sitting areas both indoors and outdoors. Just off the Great Room is a large covered porch facing the bay with steps leading down to a large deck with a spa at one end. From there a few more steps bring one to the lowest level which has a sand “beach” with a ladder into the water, a gazebo with a bar stools partially surrounding the perimeter and comfy seating inside as well as a huge deep-water dock. On the north side of the house is the heated pool that overlooks the spa and bay and a pavilion with chaise longues and a table. Dun Reach really is a great Harbour Island retreat.
