Making The Pearl even more wonderful is a new 48’ x 5’ lap pool which spills into a lower 18’ x 14’ pool. Both overlook the island’s famous powder pink sand beach and turquoise ocean.
Featured in Island Follies: Romantic Homes of The Bahamas: The Tropical Architecture of Henry Melich (under its previous name of Water Music), this classically designed beach house is built on three levels. Two bedrooms are on the top level, the other two are on the pool level and the living areas, kitchen and porches are on the main level. Throughout are traditional Bahamian components like indoor and outdoor sitting and dining areas and wooden horizontal shutters that diffuse the sun and provide privacy while letting tradewinds through.
Located in a quiet residential area, one can easily walk to adorable Dunmore Town with its pastel-colored clapboard cottages for a delicious dinner or fun shopping. Whether for a single family gathering, romantic getaway or for a group of friends, The Pearl is idyllic.
