The Sea Hunter is a steel hull expedition trawler, built in Louisiana and completed in April of 2005.  The vessel is 90 ft long, with a 30 ft beam and draws 7 ft.  She is equipped with 1 Primary stateroom with bath en suite with a shower, 4 guest cabins, 2 heads and showers and separate crew quarters sleeping 7. There is central AC throughout, a covered aft outdoor dining area for 20 and a forward bridge-deck for lounging.  The large saloon is equipped with a 42” flat screen TV, surround sound stereo and an open galley.

This is the third Sea Hunter built for a family that has over 50 years of experience diving and fishing in the Bahamas. Three generations have grown up vacationing on Sea Hunter and now she has also been made available for charter.  As Bahamian waters have changed over the years, the family is constantly searching for new and unspoiled areas and this wonderful boat was designed specifically for these types of out island adventures.  With an 18k gal. fuel capacity, Sea Hunter is completely self-sufficient and as she has 2 water makers and 2 generators, she can stay at sea indefinitely.

Also with 2 dive compressors and 12 tanks on board, some of the world’s most unexplored reefs and wall dives are now yours to see as well as the owner’s family’s favorite locations in the most remote areas of the Bahamas. Rarely do other divers get the opportunity to explore these unique spots.

If you love to fish, the Sea Hunter is legendary in the Bahamas for its fishing success. Depending on the time of year, the fishing will range from migratory game fish, to the ultimate big billfish – marlin. For bonefishing enthusiasts, the crew specializes in unknown, secret locations, where you are literally surrounded by hundreds of bonefish.  The crew also provides local expertise and our skiffs bring you right to the action.

The crew is handpicked by the owner for their courteous demeanor, local knowledge and expertise. So whether you're bonefishing the flats, trolling for game-fish, snorkeling and diving or just having a picnic on a beach that never sees a footprint, the choice is yours. A week aboard the Sea Hunter is a great and very fun adventure to be enjoyed with family and friends and is always an unforgettable experience.
